For Trade: Benchmade 330-01/00 Knife of the Month

GONE

This is Mel Pardue’s 330 model with orange peel finish titanium frame and carbon fiber scales. Blade steel is ATS34. Has the old BALI-SONG butterfly logo. It was the first of Benchmade’s Knife of the Month series from the year 2000. There were 1000 pieces for each knife in the series. I’ve enjoyed having it but now it’s time to move on to something else and let this one go.

I got the knife NIB at the beginning of 2007. It has been carried (always in a leather pouch) and used on light duty stuff like mail and cutting up the odd apple or ham sandwich. The knife was just at Benchmade this month for sharpening. They also cleaned and oiled it. It is in excellent condition. There are some hairline scratches on the blade that I could not get to show up on camera as well as a few marks on the edge bevel which you can see in picture # 7. Original box, papers, and cardboard/foam packing included. I will also include the silicone impregnated cotton sleeve shown in the last picture for storage.

As for trades, I’m very keen to try out the Spyderco Terzuola Slipit (C131). I’d also be interested in the ZDP Walker (C22CFPE), the Al Mar Ultralight in brown micarta (3” or 4” blade). Other reasonable offers are welcome but I will be leaning strongly towards the Terzuola.
