Need to raise some funds this Christmas season, so this one sadly must to go to the chopping block.

Benchmade 42 AS balisong, purple/blue anodized Ti handles, partially serrated blade
Condition of the knife is great, it's only been lightly flipped a few times. There is no deformation of the tang pin, and minimal wear to the tang pin cups. The latch has minor marks from contacting the handle. Otherwise, the finish of the handles is probably 95%. The blade has been sharpened, but not by me — the previous owner told me it was sent to Benchmade for the LifeSharp service. There are a couple of light surface scratches on the blade from sharpening, which I have tried to photograph. Aside from these light marks, the blade is full.

The sheath is as close to 100% as I've seen. No wear spots, no loose threads, looks like it's never been used.
The box shows wear, but it is the correct box. Included as well are the instruction sheet/warranty card, plastic sleeve, and red wrapping paper.

This is one of the centerpieces of my collection, and I hope it finds a home with someone who will appreciate it as much as I do.
If you're looking for a daily flipper that will last you the next 20 years, or if you're looking for a gift for the balisong afficionado in your life, this one is for you.

Shipping will be to the continental US only (sorry international members, nothing personal).
Price is $355 shipped, paypal preferred.
(As some of you know, paypal does not like balisongs or automatic knives, so please avoid typing the words "balisong" or "butterfly knife" when completing your transaction.)

First come/first served basis. Reasonable offers will be entertained. Your "I'll take it" post will provide the time-stamp; please follow up with an email or PM.

Here come the pics.....

Thanks, and Merry Christmas!
Alex

Yes, sorry if I was unclear, I meant that the latch bears marks from contacting the handles. These balisongs have a latch gate, which prevents the latch from ever touching the blade.

Second price drop, $325 shipped.
This is a great balisong, the #1 production flipper of all time! Somebody's gotta want it. ;)
