I am selling a brand new MINT from Benchmade BM 42 with the weehawk blade, 154cm steel i believe(I know its not the 440c), spring latch, and TITANIUM HANDLES!!!! I haven't flipped this knife more than a couple times the first day I got her, but after that she went back in the box for the collection. I am only selling her because i need the money for an engagement ring for my girl. Again, this knife is absolutely mint from the Benchmade factory. No scratches, dings, wear, etc.
I am asking $350 for her, MINT with the box and extra factory nylon sheath as from the Benchmade factory.

From the pictures that does not look like a spring latch. It looks like a latch from the BM 62. Could just be the pictures... Not sure
 
The quality of the bottom picture is different too. Along with the top photos showing the balisong is using the new system and tang shape.
 
Laurin is right 2 different knives the top 2 pics is the 62. You can see from the extra screws on the 62. The 3rd picture is only pivot screws which is a 42.
 
Thanks for the concern everyone. He has already shipped it off and claims he accidentally posted his user BM62 photos.

He should come when he is home and fill you guys in so that he doesn't get an untrustworthy rep in the community.
 
Hey everyone. First of all, thanks for pointing this out. Let me explain. Like I said, trying some last minute selling to fund the last payment of my girl's engagement ring. I have been pressed for time with the holiday, engagement and all, and I took pics on my iphone(i didn't realize the pics were gonna be so crappy) of the 42, and my 62 which is not mint, but used. I haven't gotten around to posting up the 62 yet, but i had all the pics together. When I went to upload the 42 post with the pics, I must have mixed in the 62 pics!
So, just to clarify. The 62 is a T latch, and should not be in this thread, but anyhow, sorry for the inconvenience. Matt is getting from me, a MINT Benchmade 42, with the spring latch and titanium handles. And, if for what ever reason Matt, if you are not satisfied with the purchase, by all means you can send it back for a full refund, and hopefully by then I will already have bought the ring, hopefully she will say yes!, and I will gladly take the knife back for my personal collection, as like i said in my email, it makes me sad to have to let this one go. But, it is what it is. Thats what happens when you lose your job 2 weeks before Christmas....
So, again, sorry for the wrong pics in this thread guys, and i know Matt will be more than happy when he opens his new Christmas gift.....Brand spanking new BM42! I was planning on using it actually as my knife, but Ive been practicing alot of the form with my 62 since its a good deal heavier due to the steel handles, and didn't yet get around to feeling confident enough to make the 42 my personal user and flipper. Just too nice and rare a knife these days. Ok, enough talking......Matt, enjoy it brother, and thanks again fellas.

I'm positive I will love it and glad to finally obtain my grail knife. Thanks for clearing up any misunderstandings. I couldn't see you ripping me off when you have been a member since 2008 with over 1,000 posts and 6 positive feedback. :)

Just wish it wasn't in mint condition. I really don't know if I can flip it and play with it as I'd love to... Oh man.
I do have a BM51 I don't mind flipping... But the 42 is THE BALISONG OF LEGENDS!
