For sale is a Benchmade 5000BT Presidio - Mel Pardue design, 2005. Blade of 154CM is approx. 3.47" long. This Benchmade Presidio utilizes the Benchmade AXIS locking mechanism. Blade fires strongly with good speed and a very nice sound. Locks up solid and centered. Also has a safety lock on the top spine which keeps the blade from firing when closed and also acts as an additional lock when it's open. Blade marked "Mel Pardue Design" on the right side, along with "154CM" and a patent number.
This knife has not been carried, used or sharpened, and was stored blade-open. See photos for confirmation of condition. No nicks, scrapes, snail trails, etc. Comes with everything shown in photos.
This Benchmade Presidio is very well made and feels very solid without being bulky. It is very comfortable in the the hand. The AXIS locking mechanism is known for it's strength, smoothness and dependability, and also that it is completely ambidextrous.
