The blade on this 51 was spray painted with a very strong paint that will not chip, peel, wash or rub off on your fingers. I did not paint the blade myself, I had a family member that has practice in this sort of thing do it, I did disassmble the knife myself. Dont worry, I used the push pin method, I did not bang the pins out or bang them in either. The knives are new and they went through no stress at all. the push pin method is used with a vice, and a piece of wood with a small hole drilled in it so the pin can be pushed through. (before i sell these knives they are still mine, so I took care of them as much as possible) The blade is the same d2 steel blade that came with the balisong. this was a home project and the knives are working perfectly.

things to keep in mind:
one blade has a thinner coating so it has more of a dull black shade,
the other blade has a full coating and has a more solid shade of black.

the blade with a solid shade of black has 4 tiny spots where the paint scraped off while flipping.

each balisong was bought for $225 the current market price.

each balisong will come with its original packaging.

these knives don't reflect the sunlight or any light, so they keep a low profile.

The solid black balisong will cost you $275 shipped in the u.s only
The dull black balisong will cost you $250 shipped.

any questions just ask, if you need more pics, no problem. my email is
