I'm seriously impressed with this 525.

It's heavy, built like a tank and has rock-solid lock up.
The size is perfect - mid way between a mini and full sized Griptilian.

WOW - nice pics. The 525 is exactly what I am looking at. I am tossing up buying the 525 or 943, but really like the rugged looks of the 525. Problem is that I cannot find a place that has one in stock to take a look at. You say that it is heavy. How much heavier than your Griptilians? Do you have any other input on it? THanks a lot!

I totally agree with you that the 525 is a tank. Have you handled the 720? Just slightly larger than the 525 but also built like a tank.

Got my 525 two weeks ago. It has since taken the place of the Paramillie. IT takes up even less space.
