Does anybody like this knife? Is it big enough? I had a 520 and really liked it, but it was hard on pockets.

I had one and really liked it. It's a sturdy knife, on the smaller side. I wouldn't want to go any smaller with this type of EDC knife, but it's a usable size. Blade is right about 3 inches, and I was just able to get 4 fingers in the handle. It was a pocket chewer, but I really like the high-grip Aluminum handle. Overall, I liked the simple, utilitarian design of the knife. If you enjoyed the 520 but want something smaller, the 525 is probably a good choice.

The 525 is just as hard on pockets as the 520. It's a really nice knife though. It's nice to be able to get a full grip with a small blade. My only complaint is the pivot. I wish it came with the same style pivot as the 520, I think it looks a little goofy with a screw on both sides. But that's just me.

A similar - but less expensive - alternative to the 525 is the mini-Bone Collector 15030 - even in walnut scales as -2 ($140 vs $170 MSRP). Easier on the pockets - and in D2 vs 154CM. Of course, if you like the big 520, look at the 581 - neat handles - and M390 steel ($220 vs $185). I have all four - the mini-BC, #15030-2, gets a lot of pocket time. That 581 does, too - and would see more, if it just was a manual opener like the others (It's assisted.).
