I bought this and I am looking for something different. I'm looking for a good fixed blade(ESEE or Beckers) or another Benchmade, maybe a spyderco. It hasn't been used barely at all. Out of the box, the factory bevel was really short. The latch socket has wear from being flipped. It has been flipped wayyy more than it has been used. The latch socket wear is inevitable on the 53s, unless you never touch it. It has a D2 blade, G10 handles, aluminum backspacer and latch. Like I said, great knife, just isn't my thing.
