Benchmade 551 Camp Perry 2013 Limited Edition

Semi just like the regular grip. Feels alot more solid in the hand and especially when it flips open because of the much more dense g10. Very solid feeling knife overall. If the frn handles held you back on the grip like it did me, then I def recommend this knife. For the price you can't beat it.

So I'm going to do a blade swap when mine comes Tuesday. I was thinking about putting the camp perry blade in my bone collected g10 handles. Do you think this would be easier to sell than the camp perry blade in the regular 551 plastic handles?

I was looking at the pics from a few posts above and it definitely looks like standard grip liners. Mine will land tomorrow. Yippee

I would be surprised if the blade actually fit.

Here's my 1304 with a swapped 1303 M4 blade. I'm really diggin' it.

Hey Keyman, you kinda suck bro, I was hoping to have the 1st "Camp Ritter" on the forum. Nice work my friend. How is the overall fit and finish of the new package with the Ritter blade?

Sorry.
I had to go there.
The fit and finish on these is awesome!
These are equal to Gold Class Griptilian scales.
Awesome job Benchmade!

It doesn't haha Oh well I'm on more of a Spyderco kick lately anyway. Was pretty underwhelmed by the Camp Perry. Hard to use the axis after Spyderco's compression and ball bearing locks. Sooooo much smoother, might just sell off the majority of my Benchmade's

Wow. Question: how does these compare to the scales on the 2013 Shot Show special?

I'm not sure.
I don't own the Shot Show model (wasn't really digging the Red).
However, I do own a set of Gold Class CF Grips and these are as good as those are, for sure.
If not better, with the addition of the blue barrel spacers.

do you think for an actual user knife, not a collectible, the paramilitary 2 is better? I'm really just scared of breaking the tip on a PM2 :$

Thanks. The red is definitely less noticeable than the blue. I like the color-matching idea with these (red/red, blue/blue).

I like the manix 2 better, feels a lot more solid and has an axis type lock. The g10 on both of my manix 2's blow away any g10 I've used by benchmade
