I originally got the scales with a coated black blade and have since swapped with the blade seen here. Very little use on the blade. The handles show wear (some faint texture has been smoothed over time), but still in great looking condition. Blade in great shape with little evidence of use. The original screws were worn so I have replaced with new black coated screws from Wilkins
