Benchmade 610SBK Rufus

Yes, i have handled it. It's a beautiful knife, smooth opening, nice handle ,even for small hands, really well made, but it's a big knife not easy to hide and to carry. I can't say you more about but hope it will help.

je vois que vous etes francais. Je ne veux pas cacher le couteau mais simplement savoir si le couteau est illegal a portee.

It's a handful at half-pound in weight. However if you are in your boat and forgot your anchor it would come in handy. Or if the bad guy bothers you and you can't whip out the blade fast enough just bop him over the head with that little hooter.

It has a twin brother called a Skirmish!

Je ne connais pas les lois canadiennes mais vue la taille du couteau je parierai qu' il pourrait vous attirer quelques ennuis si vous ne le dissimulez pas.

le prix etait a combien?

See the passaround forums for info and reviews. The passarounds are just getting started but there will be a lot of good info very soon. (If you don't know a passaround is where a bunch of people chip in a few bucks and the knife is passed around to around 6 or 10 people)

Rufus!!! Haha, that made my day. :)

I'm waiting to hear more feedback on this knife. Looks a bit large for what I like to carry. I've been trending smaller with my EDC knives.

I own this knife and can say it is LARGE. The blade is pretty heavy and can EASILY swing open like a gravity knife so that may be illegal where you are but im not sure. The handle is long, thick and not very wide and fits all kinds of hands very well. It feels great in my small hands and in my friends larger hands. Its very well made with a super smooth action that lets the blade just slide out into position where its backed by the great axis lock. The S30V blade is thick and in a very useful blade shape that got complaints for being so plain at first, but I think the simpler the better. Overall its a great knife and if you can carry it I would recommend it to anyone.

Also.... IF you're used to choking up on a choil BE EXTREMELY CAREFUL! The handle is shaped in such a way that it makes you want to choke up. But there's no choil  . IMO this is a great knife, but that's a design flaw.

This has been my edc for the past month & 1/2. It is only getting some rest because I was able to acquire it's sibiling, the Squirm......uh, the Skirmish. Yep, with ole' Rufus and Squirmmy, I've got all bases covered!:D ;) :D

I find it extremely easy to carry clipped to my right front pocket. No more difficult than the Squirmish. It rides lower in the pocket due to its clip design. I find it moer comfortable in my hands as the handle is not as wide fron top to bottom, but is thickerer side to side. Get one, you'll like it!

I am ordering this badass, But since Canada is very restritive on personal rights, you may no be able to carry it, It will be my EDC and should compliment my handgun I keep in my car. Thank God the USA allows us to defend ourselves. I think you can not go wrong odering any BM. Peace Out

Im not buying it for self defense. I just like knives. Something about that makes me want to cut stuff lol..they are too attractive.

Is it really that easy to swing open?
The law says no knives that are autos, gravity knives or knives you could easily swing open.
