I had a unused, but handled Skirmish. I want to be really descriptive on this one....
The blade is factory edge, but it has a few minor issues. There is a small area on the blade where it looks like it contacted the handle. That is almost impossible to photograph. If you know anything about the history, these were planned with 3 holes and then the blades had to be removed in the first batch to add in a 4th hole. It was because of a patten infringement, so the first 100 or so are kind of unique that way. It looks like the handle may have been closed when the pivot was loose, when they were doing this.
Also the store I got it from new had some good scratches on the clip, so I tried to hand rub satin the clip to get them out. Now a clip from Benchmade is a pretty simple thing to request from their warranty department and is cheap if you have to have a new one. Then handle is 98% condition with just two or three short minor marks near the last screw in the handle. All-in-all a fine specimen of the 630.
