Benchmade 710 has bladeplay

I actually saw the Blue Loctite Threadlocker at knifekits.com. It's not permanent, but the Red Loctite is.

I love my BM 710. It has no bladeplay BUT if I shake the knife, stop pin rattles! It slightly moves from side to side and I can rotate it with my finger.
It has no effect to overall performance, but it makes me sad. I have already tried tightening the main pivot. Without positive effect.
Advise wanted. Thanks

I have never had the stop pin make any noise on any Benchmade I have had but I think some of the stop pins are made so that they rotate to prevent wear.

I just got an idea: I could sand the washers to make them thinner. Then I´ll be able tighten pivot more. What do you think about it?

I wouldn't do that.

A rattly stop pin is not a defect. The sleeve is free to rotate to spread the wear. If the noise bothers you you can temporary fix it in place with the tiniest amount of blue Loctite.

Oh I didn´t notice it at first. Thanks
In addition on BM forum people say, that it will "repair" itself with wear...

Instead of loctite on these pivot screws,
try a little teflon tape on the screw.
Works well and not so permanent.

I've found knives where the loctite seeps
in between the liner and scales, expands drying
and literally separates the liner from the scale,
so be careful with this stuff.
