Benchmade 710

the question is, get it it in ats 34 or d2?
I don't think you would be able to find it in ats-34, if I remember it was the first production line. Later they switched to 154CM and M2. The current ones are made with D2, also M4 as a limited run.

The 710 hasn't reclaimed it's place in my pocket over the Sebenza yet, but the Sebenza is just a few weeks old, and the 710 has had years of pocket time already (it looks LNIB if I put the old spacer back in).

Every body says the Sequel is the mini version of the 710, but I'd say the Blackwater 16707BT is much more of a mini 710. It is similar in size to the Sequel, but has full G-10 scales and a recurve blade like the 710.

I have a 710 with the 154CM blade. Its one of my weekend carry knives and like others have said, one of BM's best.

I've had a couple for about 5 years or so. It has been cycled many thousands of times. very good design.

I would love EDC mine, but the carry laws are kind of grey on having ANY knife with you here, so a 710 is probably pushing it a bit too far. I cant see it going well at all if a cop found you with one.
