Benchmade 710hs Question...

Use a #10 torx and loosen away to your liking. It might be a good idea to loctite the screw in place once you have reached the desired point in order to hold it there.

i was only considering due to the fact that i am having trouble whipping the blade out. I usually end up grabbing the thumbstud and pulling it out :barf:
I guess i need A LOT of practice.

What Art said... I usually loosen the screw slightly , if it is new.
I just bought my 2nd one, had custom scales and backspacer installed.
Pretty cool, it's all white, except the black coated blade and clip.

I usually loosen the pivot just a little bit so that its still just a little tighter than I like.... then heat the blade and apply Militec and work that in and let it sit over night. Carry and use the next day... heat the blade again that night and apply another drop of Militec...
Do this a couple times and you won't believe how smooth and easy it opens.

theres one on ebay right now for 75.00 buy it now. looks nice i'd buy it but already have one.
