I know A lot has been written about his knife already, but I have had A lot of people wanting to know what "I" think, so here it goes. I love this knife. It is very close to perfect. The size is great. The 3.5" blade keeps it legal most everywhere. I am very sick of black knives so the "plum" color in the handles are quite welcome. My favorite blade design for all around use is the spear point or drop point design. Yep, the 730 has that too. I don't think I even have to say anything about how great the Axis lock is...For those of you who like autos the 730 is A great legal alternative. Just pull back the Axis and give it A TINY flick and it snaps open and locks tight. Fast as an auto and just as fun. Truly ambidextrous, great price. Yes, the grind lines were not quite even, but it is sharp, and cuts well. The steel is 154CM, which I don't have much experience with, Microtech uses it however so it must be good. Priced around $100.00 I feel I have the perfect user short of A custom and maybe even then....At any rate I am very happy with the 730. It will be my daily carry from now on. The only knife I have that even comes close to this is the AFCK and I can say I like this one better. BTW, the last month or so I have gone through lots of knives, Microtech, Victorinox, Boker and more. I stopped on the Benchmade 730, I think you might to. Brian

bteel, you're making me sorry I sold that knife to you already!

Glad to hear you like it so much, I feel good that it is being properly appreciated. I have to agree that it is a very smooth folder, good size and shape as well. Enjoy
