Benchmade 755

On a side note, does anyone have the original Sibert custom piece as well as the Benchmade production model? Would love to see a comparison.

TKC is the only person I have seen on here with the custom peice. I am sure someone else has both.

I got my hands on one yesterday. Very sturdy and thick. The blade is thick as well. The quality looks very good. Opened well, lined up centered and locked fine. It reminds me of a little folding m9 bayonet! The clip is tight and would seem hard to clip over my jeans pocket. I had to pass on this one simply because of the price (mall!) but I'm going to look around for one with a better price that I can check out before buying. Thanks for all the info on the 755. This thing is very cool looking and built like a tank.

I recommend checking out www.knife works. I got an early father's day present. Blade is center, shaving sharp. I love it. Its pretty heavy for a 3 inch blade but handful of tool.

Well, It's been a while but I found a used/excellent 755 on the exchange a few weeks ago. I've been carrying it and really like it. It's thick and I've bumped it on things a few times but it's no problem. I'll post some pics of it this weekend.

I just found the knife to be a little too stubby for my tastes. The blade is too thick for cutting thick materials. I couldn't find a reason to carry it along with my ZT 0301, as my pocket doesn't have that much room, and I also couldn't think of a reason to carry the MPR over my 0301.

I really like mine. I don't carry it often, I find the blade too thick for most of my everyday use. But there's just something about it I like.

Mine has been an EDC since it arrived here. I like the looks of the newer black bladed version - but this knife is function first - art-form second. The black BM blades (I have two - a 635 & 760.) show use - scratch - too easily. I did have to spend a few minutes on the basic Sharpmaker to bring it's edge 'back'... actually, well beyond it's new sharpness. Holds it's sharp edge quite well, too.

I find my 630 Skirmish - or even a Case Seahorse Whittler - often in another pocket. Occasionally, even my ZT-301. But - my 755 MPR will take care of 99% of my daily needs.

PS I got the Boker Haddock for Pappy's Day - nice knife - dress-up version of the 755 combined with a whittler (Wharncliffe blade!), I suppose.

I realize these 755s all look similar but here are some pics of MINE! Super cool knife!

What's not to love? Mine is perfectly centred, and once I adjusted the pivot screw and worked the action a bit is smooth and reliable with both hands. Great little knife!
