benchmade 806D2... anybody know why they discontinued it?

There's been a lot of discussion of that recently here on bf; and I don't think anyone has come up with a >definitive< answer.

If you do a search you'll see plenty of threads.

I heard that Sam Benchmade (Al's cousin) just did not like the blade shape, and nixed it.
