M390 steel blade (60-62HRC)

Milled blue/black G10 handle scales with stainless steel backspacer, full liners, and reversible deep carry tip-up pocket clip


Due to the layering of the 2 colors G10 and when machined, Each knife may be slightly different in color on the handle, One may have a little more blue or a little more black in the handle. We will not be able to go through and pick these out for preferred handles.

This is a unlimited run and will not be serialized.
 
I would SO buy one personalized right now if you can guarantee a mostly black handle.. :(
I've been wanting to get the 810-1401 so badly but I'm scared to get a mostly blue handle.
Nobody would want to buy my personalized one if i get a blue handle and try to sell it.

Oh really? Maybe I should just order it. Thank you for the info!
I'm gonna give them a call and find out if I can still get it personalized for free if I ship it back to them after I receive the knife and verify the color. This way, I can at least just sell it if it comes blue.
 
actually you don't have to sell it, plenty of forumers here will gladly trade you their blacker scales.

I recall when this first came out, the buzz was for the bluer scale

I personally prefer the blacker one.. and got it! more of a statistical norm than luck, hehe

you can't go wrong with Knifeworks, they are top notch
