This is a user, discontinued, Benchmade 9050 AFO, military issued, that I was given. It is a side opening automatic, using the push button located on the side. It has a sliding safety switch to prevent accidental firings. The blade is black coated and partly serrated. The knife has quite a few dings and scuffs on the handle and the blade shows wear. But the spring is super snappy and still deploys great, and has two brand new pocket clips, the original style with a Benchmade stamp, and a cooler styled stonewash clip from a 950 Rift.
