I finally peeked into a couple of brown knife shop bags I had in the back of the safe under a stack of knife boxes. One had this brand new Benchmade I've never even taken out of the box. This is a true time capsule for anyone who might collect such things. It even has the knife shops automatic knife warning paper. I figure if I haven't thought about it in 18 years it might as well go to someone who might appreciate it. (the other bag had an empty box for an Emerson Benchmade CQC7 Auto - that knife I remember and it's long gone)
