I was woundering if any one has any experience with the Benchmade 915 series knife. I have been lookig at them on line but not been able to find any local to me to put my hands on.

Have this knife as my EDC, both at work and in my sparetime.
I work in construction, and my 915 gets used and abused several times a day. I would trust my life to this particullar knife.
Really good and grippy handle, stirdy construction, and from what I`ve expirienced so far, a rock solid lock.
Thinking of ordering one more to keep in my BOB, and I think Benchmade is my new folders of choice..

You will not regret ordering one IMO...
They may seem big and bulky, but I hardly notice it in my pocket, and the clip makes it ride really low in the pocket too...

great knives, I have two, its my EDC blade

I cant really add more then what was said above.

One fact that may come up is they are a little on the heavy side. But, you are packing more then just a blade !

I've been interested in this knife since it came out, but I was worried the carbide glass breaker would be a problem (wearing out pockets, bumping into things, etc.). Really wish they made this knife with a retractable carbide tip like the Spyderco Assist.

It’s pretty subdued, I don’t even notice it unless I’m looking for it.

Truth is unless it carried tip down in a pocket with no clip. I don’t see it being an issue.

Tip up in a pocket (with or without a clip) its out of the way
