Up for sale today is my Benchmade 940-1 Osborne. Purchased this a while back and was sold to someone but during the first few weeks of owning it, one of the Omega springs broke. Even though it broke under his ownership, I honored a refund request and the spring was then replaced. Now it’s time to go back up for sale. For full disclosure, I never, ever, ever, ever dropped this knife as it was always babied but there is a small cosmetic crack in one side of the scale. However, this does not, in any way, effect the function or performance of the knife. But I want to be completely honest and I hope the price and reflect that.
Steel of the knife is S90V. Never sharpened but it has been stropped once just to get a sharper edge from the factory. Action has been flawless. I’ve owned a few Axis Lock Benchmade and this surpasses all by miles. Washers have also bee lubed using KPL. Centering is great and absolutely zero blade play in any direction. It’s a beautiful knife that has been well taken care of. Includes original box, papers, packaging, etc.
