I been wanting to go check out a local knifeshop fow a quite a few weeks now and Saturday finally made it. About a 30 mile trip north from me.

David is the owner and his son run the shop. Fantastic service totally cool guys really excited to welcome me to the Tampa area.
So I really had fun handing some great blades and some autos also WOW!!!

But this 940-1 really just checked all the boxes for me. So light yet lock up ROCK SOLID, axis lock so cool and fun to flip open and closed. Thumb stud deployment wicked fast also. Just had to buy it $250+tax and made some new friends!

Put a WICKED-EDGE on it when I got home and this bad boy is a freekin scalpel! I love to cut fruits vegetables, cardboard cuts like butter, shrink wrap off pallets at work just barely have to touch it.

I've checked out quite a few nice blades the last few months and I'll till ya this will be my EDC for a good while going to be very hard to steal pocket from this one.

Definitely my favorite Benchmade as well. S90V is dang near impossible for me to get a mirror polish on, but the edge holds up well.

I just finally picked one of these up too. Could no longer accept that I didn't have a 940 of any variation! Well, everyone was correct and they are amazing lol. Enjoy.

A most excellent knife! I have a few......my sons ALWAYS grab one when they see it!
Enjoy it!!

That's beautiful, congratulations!

I just recently picked up my first carbon fiber knife and I love it.
