Hey everyone, i've been wanting to buy a 940 for years now and finally decided to take the plunge. Now it's a matter of deciding whether it's gonna be 940-1501 or the new 940-2. What's your thought?

940-1501 - $200
CPM 20CV
Black/blue G-10

940-2 - $170
CPM S30V
Black G-10

How about, buy the one you like better.

You like black and blue handles?...buy the 1501. You like all black with green spacers?...buy the -2.

The KnifeWorks exclusive 940-1501 has the classic 940 contouring/milling and the handle colors of blue/black vary from one sample to the next with some more blue and others more black. The new 940-2 has a new and different handle milling. You can see them side by side below. I like them both but prefer 20CV over S30V.

Hit KW up!! I'm going to shortly! The steel and the scales.......kinda have enough black scales.
If this is your first 940 you will wonder how you did without one for so long!! I had to buy 4 of them........my sons have 'borrowed' a couple.......for about a year now! Cute kids.

Thanks guys, I just ordered the -1501, the free engraving is a nice touch. Can't wait for it to come. If all goes well i may get the -2 as well
