Hello everyone, today I have two knives up for sale that I wish I could hold on to longer, the Benchmade 940 and Benchmade 940-1. I am the sole owner of both knives and both will have the boxes, baggy, paperwork they came with.
The 940 is the green handled S30V model with the purple titanium back spacer. This knife was purchased new from Bass Pro Shops in Grapevine, TX while on vacation this past summer. I have carried it and lightly sharpened the micro bevel with a ceramic stone (Spyderco double stuff) but this knife has never been used to cut more than string, air, and maybe some paracord. The 940 has perfect centering when opened and closed, is silky smooth on opening and closing, and the only real signs of wear are on the pocket clip which is typical of the black painted clips from Benchmade. This will be going for $140 shipped via USPS Priority 2-3 day delivery with confirmation number emailed to you and insurance included.
The 940-1 is the carbon fiber handled S90V model with the blue stand off spacers. I am the sole owner of this knife as well and it was purchased from a dealer friend at a gun show recently. The 940-1 has been carried up until recently and shows no signs of wear or carry. The pocket clip on this one seems to be oxide coated and does not chip like the painted clips from Benchmade. The blade opens and closes smooth and has not been sharpened nor used for anything more than string, air, and maybe some more air
This knife has perfect centering when open and just a hair to one side when closed. This will be going for SOLD via USPS Priority 2-3 day deliver with the confirmation number emailed to you and insurance included.
