Benchmade 940 black reverse tanto with g-10? ever been made???

so ive been searching and cant find any pictures but im wondering if any 940's have been made with a reverse tanto black blade and g-10 handles? ive seen black blade with green aluminum and black modified spear points with black g-10, but im really looking for the one i mentioned so just wondering if they actually exist
 
Nope, there aren't any production models of said knife. Unless you buy a 940 with a black blade and a 940-2 that has the G10 handle and swap the blades, than you won't find one anywhere. You could always buy aftermarket G10 scales from a custom maker, though. Benchmade may come out with a 940-2 that has a black blade in the future.
 
You could always buy the 940-2 and send it in for the $40 blade replacement for the black blade.

cool. thanks for letting me know. i didnt even know they did that. do you get to keep the blade youre replacing?
 
I had it done a couple times, but didn't ask for the blade back. They did a great job and put one sweet edge on the new blade
