Benchmade 94x series: Clip Point or Modified Tanto?

I own several of each and prefer the clip point. I bought a 940TI today the 941TI is due out in August. Larry

I placed an order with Knife Center and they were out of them but I just talked to New Graham and they are shipping me a BM 943 today. I can't wait to get it.

A ti 941 is in the works? Oh, man, I've gotta get one of those. I love the 94* series, light and classy.

I talked to the guy at Tadgear last night he said he had some 94x titaniums on order and should have them in a couple of weeks. I may have to go ahead and order one, they do look sweet.

Boobar,

You're knifeless? What about that Sebbie in your avatar?

Congrats on your New Graham score. A new 943 and fridge magnet o' bandages in one order.

Just sold the Sebbie to a fellow forumite to free up a little cash, plus I wanted to go back to carrying a Benchmade. I will have to go ahead and change the avatar.

Hey Congrats on the 943! It's my usual EDC, unless I'm sportin' a new knife or a passaround. Hope ya like it as much as I like mine. :)
Sorry to hear ya had to part with your Sebbie. :(

The 943 should be waiting for me when I get home from work this afternoon. The Sebbie was very nice but I bought it just to say I had one, I am just as happy with a top quality Benchmade in my pocket. I carried for the last 5 years before I got the Sebbie a Benchmade 640 Boguszewski mini spike and I loved it. I have always loved the design of the 94x series so I guess it is time to try one out.

The tanto ones seem to flip open a bit smoother/easier with the extra heft at the tip.

The 943 was waiting for me when I got home, most excellent knife, smooth opening, SHARP, and rock solid lockup. Thanks to New Graham, and all of you who posted a reply to my inquery.

I've had the BM 942s for a few months and love it. I had thought about the purchase for quite a while and the it finaly came down to asthetics between the 943 and 942.
The blade has just enough curve to give a good cut. With the reverse tanto and great style to the handle it looks like a piece of art.

Unfortunately, I'm gonna have to sell it to make room in the collection.

I had the 943P for a month or so and I had to sell it to get one of the new 940TI from a fellow forumite, can't wait till it gets here next week. This will be the first limited edition Benchmade that I have carried as an E.D.C. I love s30v blades, I wish Benchmade would make a 710 with s30v, that would be the ultimate knife.
