I've had this for a bit but have decided that I'm going to collect less and focus on knives that I'll carry more often. The 970ST is an amazingly light version of the Emerson CQC7 series. It does not appear to have been used but there are a few marks on the blade. These are not gouges or deep scratches and you cannot "feel" them on the blade. The pictures show these very well. These blades are not sharpened in the traditional sense but this one does not appear to have been heavily or even lightly used. The scales are in excellent shape. Lockup is solid with no blade play.
