Benchmade Ambush...1st impressions

It might just be my particular ambush, which I have owned for about 6 months now with heavy use, but I keep having troubles with the blade tightning screw. It wont stay at a good tightness, if you tighten it too much it will be very hard to open it, but if you loosen it just a tiny bit, you will get blade play. And after using it a little bit, you will have to tighten the screw again. I e mailed benchmade and they told me to send it in, but I'm not too ambitious now that I have purchased another knife. Overall it is a good feeling knife, the clip paint did wear off, but no big deal. I just am not comfortable with blade play because thats one step away from lock failure and losing a couple digits. Anyways, I might send it in sometime.
 
my buddy just gave me a mini ambush and i heard on the benchmade forum that there is a way to disable the indraft system by "voiding the warranty."

anyone know how this is done???
