Benchmade at 2019 Blade Show

Isn’t blade show where knife manufacturers wow the world with new and innovative releases?

Benchmade brings knives that have already been on the market for months now, and a sharpener that nobody asked for.

Why even bother showing up?

Shot Show may get more attention than Blade but yea it was a miss.

I must admit, I gotta feel that the glorious mini deep carry clip is being used... poorly.

"Mini-Deep Carry Clip? I put that shit on everything!"

Not very enthralling stuff imo.

Thanks for posting this vid tho RamZar. Nice to see what's new whether like the blades or not.

"You advertise that you sharpen knives"
Yet You never responded to my question about knife sharpening.

That sharpener is too expensive and too short. If this is how they want to compete with Spyderco they need something way better.

I used a diamond sharpener that size for years to sharpen my blades and it worked just fine.

I am literally sitting here laughing out loud. Who the hell needs a folding EDC sharpener?

A good, compact pocket sharpener is a worthwhile tool (more so in the field than for urban EDC), but this one is too expensive (buy the same thing direct from WorkSharp for $10 less), and the 25° guides are a joke (they result in an edge > 25°, how much greater depending on the angle of the blade grind).
