I noticed that the Jaguar has a balisong that resembles the Benchmade one with Zamak handles. Has anyone done a comparison test between the two? Which one is better? I'm betting on the Benchmade, but both are in similar price range, and maybe similar materials. Any information would be helpful. Thanks again guys and gals!

NaTeDoGG,

My friend got one while he was in the Army, he paid $25.00 for it brand new. I noticed on the 1SKS the most expensive Jag was similiar in price.

When the 259 was in production I just had to have one. Heavy like the Jag but nice.

Not too long ago I bought a set of Jags and all I can say is , sorry guys, "they suck"!

Pins are superior in the BM.

Please direct all negative response to Ms. Helen Wait.

The BM is a better knife but still gets pretty loose after awhile; not near the knife the 42 is and can be as much money or more when you can find a nice one!<eek>

I did a "side by side" comparison and the Jag is just a bit wider in the handles and a hair heavier.

Not quite sure I've heard low end BM balis were made in Japan, Hiro knives, but I might be wrong. I'll try to gather more info around here. Guess the two, Jag and the BM, are almost same in quality give or take some here and there.
