Have a couple question about this knife...
I'm thinking of getting one but I can't decide about getting the one with the serrations or just the plain edge. I've also looked at the specs and its like 7 ounces, that's heavier than my ZT0350, for the people who carry it do you notice that it's so heavy?
Also for people who have the knife or have used it, would it make a good edc knife?
Please let me know how you like or dislike this knife if you've used it. Pics of the knife would be great also.

Thanks

I carry mine daily. It's always in my right rear pocket. It has however eaten my jeans. It's got a wicked curve to it, that's why I bought it, but it does make cutting certain media interesting. I don't notice the weight walking around. Only time I do notice is when I pull my pants up. But as long as your pants aren't baggy or you wear a belt I doubt you'd notice.

Great knife. I vote satin pe

That was gonna be my other question satin or black blade?
SpartanSaint- do you have any pics with the blade open?

I'm looking at buying the manual bedlam as well. What is the spacer/pommel made out of? BM's site doesn't clarify.

BTW- I want the same as above, plain edge, satin finish.

Thanks.

I'd get the plain edge version for any knife. It's better to have the entire blade either plain or serrated IMO.

Looks like Im gonna go with satin, plain edge.
Is it worth the 190$ is the question now.
I've paid 130$ for a knife that doesn't function as good as a 45$ knife.
I'm not saying that the knife isn't good, I'm just curious.

Wow, the Bedlam looks huge in that pic. I do wish the glass breaker/spine/whatever was silver on the satin model to match the blade-- kind of an aesthetic pet-peeve of mine. Lower production cost I guess.

It's a monstrosity of a knife and I love it more for it. The pommel doesn't bug me. Fyi, op DO NOT spend 190 on it when you can get it for much much less ha ha. Knifeworks, don't forget the coupon code.

The handle fits the hand well, I love the clip, And it makes you smile when you snap it open and closed.

I'll take a pic for ya and edit it in

The blade is indeed sick; I almost got one. I think it's a bit big for me though and the handle bugs me aesthetically. I guess I'm more into proportionate blade/handle ratios unless the knife is massive like the Rajah or Espada XL. And the pommel thing =p

If you buy it on http://gpknives.com its only 146.95, I bought one in a black plain edge and I love it, carry it every day, fit and finish was exceptional and it is very good for edc IMO. It is a little heavy but its not too noticeable, I think it's really great :)

Wow didn't know it's a large folder...The textured G-10 is pretty nice.

Now I want it, but 154cm kinda bugs me, if it's CPM154 I'd pull the trigger already....

Oh and the G10 is great, it hasn't eaten my pockets at all, and as far as 154CM goes, I wan't sure but its been working great for me

Thanks for the heads up because I want one of these but you might be getting a citation by the internet police for "deal spotting". I would pull the trigger on of these real quick if I was able to modify it to open via wave. Perhaps with the zip tie method.

I have the automatic version of this knife and chose the plain edge blade. The plain edge was a good choice and i absolutely love this knife to pieces! Of course its an auto so its a bit different but the blade shape is decent for edc and the 154 cm is ok. i've managed to get a razor edge but for whatever reason its not holding its edge to well, but alas this is not a steel discussion! the knife is worth the money in auto form and so i assume it is also great manually!

Peace

Oh, I didn't know about that, thanks for the heads up. Hope you can enjoy this knife as much as I do

Persian style knives make great EDC tools. That belly on the blade makes cutting things easy, so long as it is sharp that is.

It's not deal spotting if the dealer has a paid membership here and the one you mentioned does. ;)

Ahhh! I can't decide between getting one of these or the new g10 espada large first.

Wow 145 out the door at gpknives!
I would have felt stupid if I would have paid 190 haha
Thanks for the heads up guys
it sounds like a great well rounded knife, which is what I'm looking for.
Now I gotta play the waiting game, a couple weeks until my bday and Ill probably have it in my pocket :)
