Benchmade bedlam 860?

I went whit the satin finish on my Bedlam, easier to maintain, i carry It on my left side front pocket as a tool and weapon of last resort. It is a large knife but you hardly notice it when going about your day.

Its one hell of a cutter, the curved blade really helps out. I love the G10 grips and the fact that I is made to bought grip it on a saber grip and reverse grip is just perfect for my needs. The glass breaker is a plus as well, and can be used as a blunt weapon.

I think they were originally made for a Jordanian royal guard or something.

I carry mine daily. It's always in my right rear pocket. It has however eaten my jeans. It's got a wicked curve to it, that's why I bought it, but it does make cutting certain media interesting. I don't notice the weight walking around. Only time I do notice is when I pull my pants up. But as long as your pants aren't baggy or you wear a belt I doubt you'd notice.

Great knife. I vote satin pe

what fixed blade is that please.. thank you.

I have one ordered and it should be here tomorrow. I had to go with, or at least say I had to go with, the combo blade black because the satins were on back order from BM. They said it would be at least 25 days before they were built and another couple before they shipped. I am impatient so I told them to get me what they had asap.

knifeworks has the satin in stock, the actual price is much lower than the advertised price, you will pay pretty much the same price as gnp knives.

I don't know how to post photos but I have the black blade partly serrated model, and I think that, along with the Emerson Persian, it's the coolest producton Persian folder ever made, although BM calls the blade style a modified Bowie. It has some heft but I don't think it's too heavy at all. Even if it was heavy,I wouldn't care, it just looks so bad [as in good]
I think serrations add cutting power to a folder, so if there's an option, I always go for serrations. Judging by the comments I read on this forum though ,that makes me part of a small minority.

I have a dealer that gets me what I want from BM at his dealer cost, which is like half price. So a Bedlam auto for $135.00 is a pretty good deal, now does it make sense? I went to Knifeworks etc. but I work for the Government so money is tight these days.

I really, really like this knife. The more I see it the more I'd like to own it. I really wish that it was offered in D2 or even S30V. Now that would be killer.

if you are on the fence about it, go ahead and get one, its a beast of a knife. a true monster. ive only had mine for about a week, and i already want another. i have the plain edge satin one, but i really want a combo edge for EDC. i believe this knife would be great with a combo edge, you still have quite a bit of plain edge to use due to the curve and the length of the blade.

this model will also do great in a mini version.

The word mini on a knife makes me sad. I think they should have made the blade larger maybe the length of the onslaught.

You know, you aren't making this easier, :D
I like larger knives too. I think a LE in D2 is in order for this design soon.
