Benchmade Blue Box

Is the Benchmade Blue Box bit set really needed to work on the various Benchmade models or will standard Torx bits work? Thanks in advance.

I agree with Lambertiana. The BM set is crap IMHO. The Husky set is not only cheaper, its better made AND works a lot better in my experience.

My BM 975 has some super-tiny torx bits holding the scales onto the frame. I wonder if those kits (other than BM's kit) have the super tiny bits

BM says Torx 6, 8 and 10 are all you need.

You may want to take a knife with you to the store. It seems to me like some some torx fasteners mesh better with certain brands of torx drivers.
