Benchmade Benchmade Bugout advice

They seem like the best company to go with for aftermarket scales. Did you have the normal 535? I saw something about needing a new spacer?
I started with the 535-3. So S90v, carbon fiber and the blue backspacer. It went together just fine. On Rockscales site they say they work with all versions of the bugout. I had one of the original Bugouts with Aimfront aluminum scales which were very nice also.

I'll note on my particular Bugout I had to send it back to Benchmade to fix the action. For some reason when I would tighten the scales on the backspacer the action would lock up.

It’s a small, relatively flimsy knife, without metal scales IMHO. Failing that, the CF feels former than grivory to me.
