Benchmade bugout or Spyderco Delica 4

Thanks for your responses, I would usually bite the bullet and buy both. I’ve had delicas before both vg-10 and zdp. I read the post in the mentioned bm thread, and still wanted to continue one here where it want be bias as far as that being a bm forum

If you've already had a Delica in both varieties, why not give the BM a go?

Yeah, this is what I'm thinking as well. I recommended the ZDP Delica, but if you've already owned and sold 2 Delicas it's probably best to go with the Bugout. It's a great knife.

In case you do want an alternative, the Spyderco UKPK in S110V is under $100 and a fantastic blade. No, it doesn't have a lock... but you don't need one on a light knife. There's a reason slip joints are becoming more popular.

I have a bugout and love it to bits. I don't have a Delica, so since I already have the bugout, I'd get the Delica. You know, 'cause I don't have one...

I have both & like them both very much. The ergonomics of the Delica 4 are the best of almost all the folders I own. The Bugout makes for a super light and unobtrusive EDC with pretty good ergonomics too.

Delicas are completely boring to me. But they’re fantastic knives with great ergos and you can find one on the exchange for $50 pretty much every other day. And you can get them serrated which I much prefer.
