Looking to buy a Bugout.
I have a Mini Bugout and like it a lot, but wondering if the longer one would offer me more use. I usually carry 3" knives because they are easy to handle and lighter. Of course with the super light weight of the Bugouts, it should be pretty lightweight as well.
....Or;) do I just want to buy another knife?

I say go for it, I love my Bugout. I like the looks of the mini, but my full size is so lightweight I haven't really had a need to look into the smaller

If you love the mini, you'll love the full-size too. Since you have a standard mini, maybe go for an upgraded version like CF and S90V or aluminum and M390. But the regular blue 535 is great too. I have them all and love them all. I need a G10 version myself, like the SMKW exclusives.

Maybe branch out and try a Hogue Deka for something a little different?
I received one in Magnacut this week. Waiting for a Lynch NW clip and SKNY Goat aluminum scales so I can customize a bit and make it my own. Here is the before portrait:

Bugout is one of my favorite knives to carry, excellent size and blade for my EDC needs.

Before you buy a Bugout, check out the Taggedout. It has replaced the Bugout as my EDC.

I absolutely second this. I actually used my taggedout all day at work today, and while I love my bugout, I really enjoyed the lack of thumb studs catching everything I cut while using the whole blade. About the same weight, slightly larger blade, and again, no thumb studs…if you’re into that stuff
