Do it. The custom full size is making me want to get a little brother for these hot summer months. This MIni-Grip is making me want to order a custom-shop Mini Crooked River...
Somebody talk me out of it!
That's going to be a sweet blade. Update us when you get it.Oh! I forgot to mention the most important part: S90V steel...
I would absolutely jump at the ability to get a hollow ground or even full flat ground blade to make the most out of the upgraded steel choices...I am sure there are some folks that still remember the old hollow ground 154 blades on the standard griptilians that would take a shot on a full done custom version.
Not anymore as far as I know. I have a mini in 20CV and a fullsize in S30V and both are saber ground.Aren't the sheepsfoot blades with round holes (550/555) still hollow ground? or did they recently change that? I know the oval holed ones were flat ground, but the round holes were always hollow ground I thought?
I dont know....as far as I am aware; the benchmade grip which is their flagship model is only being done in sheepsfoot or droppoint but both are saber ground. I know there used to be some hollow ground models back when they were made in 154CM. I dont know of any other grind for the crooked river, bugout, Freek, or Osborn all of which would probably be considered their top selling folding knives.Benchmade may not offer a custom grind.......
They sure can offer a variety of grinds.......
Even on the same model knife.....

Ahhhh I see now. Classic case of humor not always translating through text.I have a grip in sheep's foot.
I didn't like the handle and bought a aluminum handle from AWT. Now I love it......
My mentioning about grind was a little humor.........people here will talk about BM having uneven grind with knife edge........
