I have a like new, very lightly used (opened up a few packages and boxes with it) BM Doug Ritter M4 Mini Griptilian with black handles for sale. This is from the first batch of M4 Mini Griptilian which were all numbered. It is not from the second run that were not numbered and came with orange handles instead of black.
I took the handles off the knife to clean any dust inside, but I do not think I put it back together properly. Before I disassembled the handle, the knife had zero blade play and was perfectly centered when closed. Now, after I reassembled it, there is very slight blade play and the blade is slightly off center when closed. I know this has to be because of the way I put it back together and not the knife itself.
I planned on sending it back to Benchmade to have them reassemble it correctly, but I decided I would just list it here for 20 dollars less than what I would list it for if I sent it back to benchmade beforehand.
If you are handy with knives or can confidently reassemble a benchmade mini griptilian, than you should have no problem setting this knife better than I did. If you are like me, and inexperienced with putting these knives back together, then you can send it back to benchmade for the cost of shipping and the will reassemble it for free.
