I bought this knife new several years ago, and it has sat in it's box in my safe ever since. I thought I was going to make an EDC knife out of it so I sent it to Benchmade for some upgrades to make it a more sturdy folder. I need to fund another purchase so up for sale it goes.
Benchmade installed handle inserts for the handle screws to thread into, instead of threading into the G-10, as they did originally (which was the weakest part of the design). I also had them replace the plastic back spacer with factory stainless steel standoffs.
Knife is completely new and unused. Dual titanium liners, ATS-34 blade. The action is butter smooth, lock up is solid and early, no blade play what so ever. The blade sits dead center when closed. Comes with the original BM box.
