Benchmade flagship

I'd also go with the 710HS, although Gollnick's comments about BM Bali-songs, which take into account the earlier history of the company, are well-taken.

I'd have to go with the 710 model.

I'd put in the AFCK, but I wasn't cognizant of Benchmade the company until I read and heard about the 710's virtues (then bought one).

Same goes with the butterfly knives (which model?). Butterfly knives just aren't as popular as "regular" knives for various reasons.

The flagship model seems debatable as there are so many limited editions (which I don't think would qualify - limited). So I considered only regular production models.

In the past when I heard Benchmade, I associated them with very good Bali-Songs. Now I think of the Axis Lock, a knives like the 710.

I wouldn't argue with the 710 or the balisong, but the company's new 610 RUKUS has such a good design and fit/finish and smooth opening that for me this is the new flagship.

710.

I carried it for a week when I visited NYC recently. I forgot how slick that thing is.
