can anyone tell me where to go to get reliable/accurate info on value/collector item for a couple of Benchmade folders. I tried to ask on the forum but the inquiry was removed as I am at an inappropriate level to ask the value---so where do i go ? I am a novice at this and gotta begin somewhere.

You need to get the gold membership. It is cheap and worth it.

Why Thank you Lawilli; please tell me what does a gold membership cost and what does allow one to do ?
Bt the way, I have a Case V42 that my Dad had in Italy in WWII. Will I be able to ask about that too ?
 
Search model sale histories at Arizona Custom Knives & on ebay. It's not an exact science, but you can usually ball-park current values based on actual recent purchase price data..

You can ask for information about any knife you have.
But you need a Gold Membership or higher to ask/discuss values.
And to sell your knives on BF if you so choose.
