I'm really stuck on my Benchmade Nitrous Stryker at the moment. I think it might be THE knife. It doesn't have the Axis lock though.

I agree with you. I've looked at a lot of Benchmades recently and I picked the 913 as the one that I liked best. I like others though and I picked 4 or 5 more that I liked. I decided I should add 1 or 2 more to my collection so I bought a 581. Others that I liked were the 525, 790 and 890. I haven't carried the 581 enough to tell how it will compare to the 913 but the 913 will be hard to beat.

My vote is either the full size Ritter Grip or a used 710. Can't really go wrong with either.

In fact, you should probably just get them both

Regular sized grip, mini grip (they can actually be had below 80) benchmade 530 pardue design.
