I forget this one's model but one of our guys posted a pic that is pretty much it:

Mine's the ex-large 4 inch blade,I just don't like ATS-34 so I want to trade.
Want a Spyderco Para-Military with a plain edge blade, just e-mail me and I'll get it to you within the first two weeks of the month.

*edit*
It's in very good+ shape bought it in 1997 just a little pocket wear and a couple spots on the blade where the bead blast got wore off with use.

Also now willing to throw in a Buck single Blade Crosslock.

No it's just those I mentioned are ether too hard (brittle) or "semi-stainless" the Benchmade/emerson would get brownish spots when I clipped it to my pocket in humid heat, kinda soured me on ATS-34.

Is 154cm like ATS-34? I'd read they are similar true? yes/no? if 154cm is a bit more rust resistant then ATS-34 I might bite.
also any Spyderco or Balisong / Butterfly Knives are welcome.

*edit*
Just remembered:if you have any 154cm knives with that diamond-like coating I really will be interested :D

Free bump for a great knife, plus a comment. My Benchmade CQC7 was somewhat prone to rusting easily as well. It is more a function of the deep bead blasting that BM put on these models than the actual steel itself (that's my opinion as I never had any trouble in similar situations with BM's satin finished ATS). I learned to keep a coating of oil on it and I never had any problems after that. I have since gone to less maintenance intensive blades (still a few ATS-34).

Those CQC7s were great hard working knives and I miss them from the Benchmade line. Good luck with your trade.

Lycos sucks! :grumpy: they need to get their s**t together *sigh*

try that and pray the little sucker works;)

I would appreciate it if you wouldn't use my pictures without permission. That is considered bad internet etiquette on pretty much any forum you decide to hang out in. It is much more appropriate to link to a thread that contains the image. Thanks, G

Sorry I just couldn't remember the darn thing's model number:confused:
won't happen again.

Yup - c#$ppy little pieces of never ending frustration. That is why I like my knives - simple and to the ... point

e-mail back at ya.

I'm assuming the knife is a BM-975. Now made by Emerson as the Super-7. I love my 975S (serrated)--nice big "classic" tactical style folder. Whoever gets Krull's should be happy. I think the pic at the top is a 970. Here's my 975S, used without anyone's permission:
