I'm the second owner. Knife came to me in excellent condition and I have carried this a fair bit. I sharpened the blade on a WE to 19 degrees per side. It could use a touch up.
The DLC coating is in good shape considering I've not babied the blade. The liners and axis lock feature Benchmade's usual black coat and are wearing in a few spots as one would expect from normal usage.
I have a BM deep carry clip on it now and the knife will include a custom carbon fiber clip by M. St. Clair Designs. I think it was designed with a typical (curved scales) griptilian in mind so the clip is a tad loose when installed. It could be fixed by sanding the under side of the clip at an angle but I never bothered. There is a very small crack in the clip near the screws. The pic doesn't show the crack but it is there. I carried the knife with the clip for about a month and the crack didn't get any bigger so I don't think it will be a problem if the buyer wants to reinstall and use the CF clip.
The pivot is tuned for smooth opening and drop closing action, so just be aware there is a tiny amount of side-to-side play but can be eliminated with a tiny bit of tightening. Absolutely no vertical play.
The box is in great shape and all original documentation is included.
