Benchmade Grip Pocket Clip

When the Omega springs on my Kulgera broke a few years ago, I sent them multiple emails, which to this day have never been answered. When I called them on the phone, they were very helpful and responded quickly.

I doubt someone even looks at their email.
I have the same experience unfortunately.
 
I sent in a north fork for repair and scale replacement and it was done(to perfection) in 8 days. They sent out new clips for me as well. Sorry yall are having trouble but I figured I'd post this. They did a damn fine job
 
I prefer to just buy them at my local Benchmade dealer. He charges me $2.50 or 3 for $5. If you have a dealer nearby and want it "today" just ask if they have any.

Can you give me their email address because the rep at Benchmade told me unfortunately clips are only available from them...I do not mind paying.
 
That is definitely what I also experienced they have a could not careless attitude and that is being nice. Go check my thread under MIXED FEELINGS under BENCHMADE. I sent them at least a doze emails two months and three weeks later still no clips...If the had to reship today my guess is that it take at least another two months...4 months for free clips and a ton of frustration, not worth it. At one stage I was asked by the person handling my request, if I was from Russia because that is why it took longer...In the meantime I am not from Russia but from Mauritius...they just had to read the emails I sent giving my address details. anyhow there is much more to it. I will not buy BM products again. If I am not important to them then it works both ways.

Have you tried calling Benchmade instead of emailing them? I know I got better service over the phone, and I have seen a lot of people give the same advice in similar threads.
 
Have you got their WhatsApp number...
Their phone number is 1-800-800-7427 but I am guessing it isn't a WhatsApp compatible number, but rather a corporate landline. I am suggesting you actually call them and talk with a real person on the phone. It may get you further.

Also curious, are you currently outside the US? I know you mentioned Mauritius earlier (beautiful country by the way!). If you are trying to get something shipped there, that may also be causing some issues.

Yes I am from Mauritius and I have ordered from USA at least 100+ times using USPS FIRST CLASS MAIL INTERNATIONAL. No problems it usually takes just over two weeks from shipment date. never had an issue. I get a tracking number each and every time and I can track the package up to my local P.O.

So I take it you are ignoring my suggestions to actually call the company and instead expect everything to be done for you.

I am not sure I understand you morisboeuf morisboeuf . Looking at your profile, you have been a member here for almost 5 years and in that time nearly 50% of your posts have been complaining about companies not sending you free clips internationally. I find this quote from a thread you started in 2017 bashing a differing company for the same reason particularly enlightening:

For goodness sake, if you can spend $250 on a knife, you can spend the $2.50 on an actual phone call to the company to follow up before you jump on multiple threads bashing them.

Benchmade may lose a lot of customers this week, but I am guessing they won't be missing the one on a remote African island who is always complaining and expecting things for free.

You are the one with a bad attitude, I maybe from a remote African island and you are definitely an arrogant twit who thinks he is superior. Don't pass judgement on others...read the posts and stop try defend a bad attitude from a supposedly Big company that has taken a lot of criticism lately for various reasons ,and yes I choose to ignore you...what can you do about it. I have also read your posts and they show your bulling attitude towards others most of the time when they don't agree with you. Grow up MAN...

Look man, I spent the last 7 years living in a remote Africa country -- I understand the struggles of trying to access quality products in remote international locations probably better than 90% of this forum. I was jealous to read you get your mail from the US in less than two weeks. That being said, I worked around my situation and paid the money I needed to in order to get what I wanted -- I didn't expect someone else to do the work for me. Based on your response, I am assuming you didn't take everyone else's advice and actually call Benchmade directly. Heck, you couldn't even be bothered to look up the number, someone else had to do that for you.

If you really want personalized service, why don't you go to a place like MXG gear and support a small business owner and buy a clip that suits you. That is way better than expecting someone to service you for free.

If you actually pay for it, you have a reason to complain about it if it doesn't meet your standards.

Probably traumatized from being for too long in an African country... for you info my remote African island is one of the most modern and advanced in the world and I am proud to be a Mauritian. Look man, I absolutely loved my time in Mauritius -- nothing bad to say about it. And, my time in Africa was unquestionably the best time of my life. That being said, there are some logistical challenges that exist that must be acknowledged. There is no way that I would expect the same level of service and time frame when I lived in Africa as when I lived in the United States -- it just isn't reasonable.

As for your posts, I actually did read through all of them and that is what prompted me to make the comment. I was shocked at how often you complain about clips. You have all the comments on this thread, an entire whole thread dedicating to the exact same situation, and then another thread complaining about Lion -- in all of them you are miffed that the company isn't sending you free stuff internationally.

Lion..steel it was about them not responding to my emails at all. They did after some time and I am happy with the outcome. Go poke your nose somewhere else and again I am not requesting free stuff like you say. I have no account to give you. You are a forum member for just over a year and you want to preach let that for admins. If I was abusing others and companies then surely they should be the first one to complain or answer. Back on topic... I actually just got two clips delivered to me today from Benchmade. I want to like the black parkerized deep carry with my griptilian, but I actually like the silver pop a bit more.

The last time I requested one I went through email and it took a few back and forths. This time I had things sorted in minutes with a quick phone call. They were able to look up my records and send it straight away.

For what it is worth, they said that by March they may be sending out the short deep carry (bugout) on request and to just check back in.
 
i’ve gotten clips from them on a couple different occasions. was a mixed batch of 4 both times, including one of the mini deep carry ones the first time. as i recall it took around 2-3 weeks for them to get here. called the first time, emailed the second, didn’t seem to make a difference either way.
