Benchmade has a winner with this one!

Considering how much Benchmade knives are discounted, this knife should be available from the online dealers for a lot less than the $189.00 retail price. It will be one of the most affordable S30V knives on the market.

Alright all ready with the compinsating... You guys got me all wrong! I don't want it to be 5 inches or somthing but I like 3.6 -4.0 knifes they fit my hand better and I need a little extra cutting surface. 3.4 is on the verg of being big enough but no quite.

My point was that benchmade has the 710 and the AFCK for heavy use folder and that's it however there are tons of smaller ones usually prettier too. What's up with that? Why not a big folder somthing different maybe a hawkbill or somthing with a nice belly on it. No not benchmade it's always same old blade design with a couple of new sparkleys and the same old steel. Now I'm not talking about gents knives I talking about heavy use folders.

It's sad writing a post like this cause I'm a benchmade guy I like buying American and I like benchmade but I need some new choices. Oh yeah and while I'm at it get rid of that damn B2 coating! It's poopy!

Is that how we're supposed to be doing it? I thought you were supposed to buy knives in proportion. Hmmm... Know anybody who makes a good 1/2" folder? ;)

:p :D :p

Yeah, when you put it that way, and when you consider that 4 inch blades are often considered "maximum" for most knife companies, I wonder why BM doesn't maximize the blades on more knives (than the 710) to 4 inches?

It may rooted in consumer demand. Perhaps 4 inch bladed knives don't sell as well as 3.5 inch blades. Who knows? But yes, some beefier knives would be nice. Maybe it's up to us as consumers to let these companies know what we want; not just what they will force upon us.

Now that is a beautiful knife. I hate tip-up, but for that knife I'm going to have to make an exception.

i do not like the blade design and think the handle is gaudy. also looks very slim and shiny.

Going to hafta save all the pennies now. Since I am in Canada its gonna take twice as long.
Really nice looking blade, damn fine
