Benchmade hawk

does anyone have on of these, they look nice and i trust benchmades quality.

I don't have one of those, but it strongly resembles the K5 Tactical Spike Tomahawk. My K5 is a bit heavy; more for breaching and not for fighting, but I like it. The K5 seems quite a bit less expensive than the Benchmade.

Both were designed by Killian and both heads have almost identical dimensions and grind lines. Looks like the benchmade hawk has a better prybar at the bottom of the handle.The Benchmade's advertised price is $125 more than the K5 Tactical.

how do you like the k5?? i checked it out, looks good and made in the USA and for 125 less i like it

The K5 is a good breaching tool. If you want a hawk for close quarters fighting, I'd go with a VTAC http://www.americantomahawk.com/products/vtac.htm or some other quality, but lighter product. One good thing about the K5, you never have to worry about replacing the handle.

ok, im new to hawks but it looks nice. i have also been looking at the RMJ tactical. they look really badass

you will not break the bm hawk,kinda heavy the price tag is over $250,not bad but i am broke right now..
