I've been spoiled. I've had a 710 Axis for about a year now, and I can't bring myself to buy another kind of knife. I've dabbled in some others, but there's no point.
I need you to make more Axis lock knives--specifically, another 4" model. I'm getting the 770 as a small compaion for my 710, but I need more. I want a Spydie Military, a Microtech LCC, and a bunch of others, but the locking mechanisms just don't compare.
My suggestions for a new 4" Axis folder: stabilized wood scales and a highly polished clip-point blade; an "overbuilt," heavy knife like a Spydie Chinook; a micarta-scaled, titanium-bolstered model with an Osborne-like blade (but 4" instead of 3.5).
And since Spyderco refuses to produce a modern lock like this, maybe you can use a Spydie hole like you did on the AFCK? Mmmm...Axis lock with Spydie hole...
I'm desperate here. I can't buy any more full-size folders! With my 710 in my pocket, I can't justify the purchase of another lockback or linerlock. Please take my money!
